A White iAM Band shows that you have taken the first step – maybe the most exciting and challenging step any of us ever take. You have been introduced to your sport in a safe, fully qualified environment – you are an Explorer.

Progressing Beginner
A Yellow iAM Band shows that you have progressed from the introductory phase of your sport. You are now able to participate and perform basic skills in a safe, supervised environment.

Advanced Beginner
An Orange iAM Band shows that you have built on the fundamental, basic, novice skills required in your sport. You are now improving your control and you are moving forward from the novice stage.

A Green iAM Band shows that all the basics are in place and your understanding of your sport is deepening. Now more advanced equipment, strategic thought and considered practice come into play.

Proficient Participant
A Blue iAM Band shows that you practise your sport at a proficient level. You can now venture off independently and participate in your sport on your own terms.

Able Performer
A Brown iAM Band shows that you are now good at your sport. You have a full command of all the basic skills and you are also able to perform most advanced skills upon request. With a little more consistency and practice you will become an Expert.

A Black iAM Band shows that you have refined all your skills and perform advanced techniques with creativity and grace. You are in a position to pass on knowledge to others whilst perfecting your own art.

National Competitor
Red iAM Band shows that you are a national competitor or personality in your sport. You compete and win (in the ‘no-age restriction’ category) of your sport or display skills that are matched by very few in the country.
